I think one of my favorite type of dance is hip-hop and that can't be further from my own personal style.  I think I especially like when the routine includes more than one dancer because I like the synchronization aspect of it.

Love the show!  I really enjoyed the Ballywood dance performance last night by Billy and Robert---its unusal and takes lots of power and determination...and its something I could never do myself.....I am glad the show is bringing some unusal dance styles this year to show the audience what its all about...i also really enjoyed the Tahitian dance number that Lauren did...WOW!!    Its nice that my daughter snuggles next to me as we watch the show together....she gets excited when the audience claps at the end!!!

I absolutely love ballet!!  I took lessons for a good part of m childhood, and I was lucky in that my daughter shares my love of dance.  She has danced for 21 of her 24 years - did the pre-professional school, summer intensives, etc.  She danced and choreographed in college too.  Even in medical school, she choreographed and performed in a pediatric aids benefit last year.  We try to see a few professional performances together every year.  This past mother's day she took me to see the Pennsylvania Ballet  - it was beautiful!

I love all types of dance, but to tell you the truth I have really grown fond of Bollywood.  It looks like so much fun and tells such a nice story.

Hmmm ... the judges save Lauren tonight ... not sure if I agree w/them tonight.  I was sure it was going to be Jose' leaving the show.  We'll see what next week holds.

My favorite routine this season has been Robert and Allison dancing to Coldplay's Fix You. Maybe it's because I have 2 sons, but as he's there for her the entire dance up to the moment where he's acting as her legs and helping her walk, I was moved to tears. Stunning choreography.
